ROBOTIC SURGERY

What is Robotic Surgery?: Welcome

INTRODUCTION

Surgery is a procedure that consists of operating within the human body in order to treat an injury of any sort. It is completed through an incision or through the destruction of human body tissue. After a surgery, recovery time is inevitable. Depending on the size of the incision, the recovery time may vary. Throughout time, the recovery times kept decreasing as the incisions got smaller and smaller due to the advancements in the precision of the medical equipment. However, the simple medical equipment reached its limit and peaked disabling its ability to evolve to furthermore lower the recovery time. That limitation was quickly overcome by the introduction of technology where the medical industry merged with the robotic industry in order to create the future of medicine, also known as: Robotic Surgery.

What is Robotic Surgery?

Robotic Surgery is the newest scientific innovation in the medical industry. It is a new type of surgery that occurs through a robotic device. It allows for smaller incisions and greater precision, therefore shorter recovery times. It is also the future of medicine as it will allow the medical industry to overcome so many previous obstacles that could have set it back in the past such as the fear of transmitting a disease which would be completely eliminated thanks to robotic surgery as the surgeon would not be in any direct physical contact with the patient.
